What do we do with our life when finally retiring from the workforce? This is the question many ask as we ponder our retirement. Many of us elect to travel thus the title bestowed upon us of "Grey Nomads".
During the many months of each year Liz and I elect to travel in our own State of Tasmania and normally in our winter months we travel to mainland Australia and onto warmer climes to explore the many outback and coastal destinations. It would be true to say that we enjoy the outback more than the populated coastal regions of each State of Australia.
Outback people are a different type of person to their city slicker cousins being more friendly and more laid back and always prepared to offer assistance or advise on their particular area or share refreshments.
