We may travel extensively to Mainland States of Australia each year during our Tasmanian winter months.
We also travel our Australian State of Tasmania in the summer months.
Though we have lived in Tasmania for a considerable amount of time we still enjoy the freedom of camping and enjoy the scenery on offer in our Island State.
Our State of Tasmania has much to offer the grey nomad brigade and other Travellers.
The scenery is unique from the button grass plains and high mountains on the west coast to the national parks in many area's of the state. There is much to do on the north/northwest coast and in the south of the State. Lets not forget the white sands of the beaches on the east and north east coasts which includes many fine freedom camping spots along the temperate coastline.
The fishing opportunities both in lake fishing or sea fishing abound with many scale species available plus Abalone and Crayfish, Oysters, Mussels and many other crustaceans.
On the other hand we may visit various Tasmanian Chapter meetings of the Campervan & Motorhome Club of Australia.
It is here we catch up with old friends enjoy social interaction and many happy hours together swapping travelling information etc.
